I’m Going on a Road Trip Tomorrow

July 20, 2011 in My Updates by brok1881

I’ve decided that I’m going to get a travel trailer and pickup truck, as some of you might already know. It’s going to be a new adventure, and with the help of my friends and family, it should WILL be more exciting than ever!! Tomorrow is the first step. The tow-vehicle.  I’m looking at getting a really small pull-behind travel trailer. With getting a really small one, I can get a new model, which means everything will actually work!! That’s a big change for me. I will actually have a working furnace, a working air conditioner, and most importantly, a working BATHROOM!! It’s like freakin’ luxury for me to have A/C, lol.

Yea, so like I said, tomorrow is the first big step. I’m looking at this SUV that can easily pull the travel trailer I’m looking at. That’s why I haven’t posted much lately. I’ve been researching and searching for a nice vehicle in my price range for about 18 hours a day for the last week or so. Maybe longer, I don’t know, I just know that searching for a vehicle online is such a pain in the ass. It sounds all fun and exciting, until you’re actually doing it, and it’s so overwhelming. Well…this is all overwhelming. It’s just so much so quick. But yea, Jason and I are driving about 5 hours away to check out this SUV. It comes with a 6 month warranty so I’m not as worried as I would be going so far if it didn’t have one. Plus we will be right near Indianapolis, so if it doesn’t work out, there should still be a good selection in the area.

I think we will be leaving close to dark tonight, so we don’t have to drive in this horrible heat!! Then stay in a hotel for the night. It’s going to be hard to get out of bed being in such a comfortable bed with A/C, lol. I’m used to sleeping on a couch since the RV crapped out.

So yea, assuming that my beat up little car makes it alright, I’m hoping to have a tow-vehicle tomorrow. Then I just gotta worry about selling the RV to get a travel trailer, and we-be-out-this-bitch. I’m so ready to leave St. Louis. Leave the humidity. Leave the pollution, the city, all of it. I want to be laid out in the middle of no where under the bright night sky. Of all of the places I have traveled in my life, I have never really seen the night sky without any distant city lights ruining the view.

We Are So Ready!!
