Cage the Elephant’s ‘Aberdeen’ Official Video w/ review and interview

In the beginning, I really didn’t like this band. But they have come a long way, and so have I in my music endeavors. Our combined consciousness has brought us together, and I must say, I rock out to this song. Matt Shultz, the lead singer, has an awesome voice. I’ve come to realize that the definition of a modern indie band isn’t really about the kind of music they make. It’s almost more of using the voice as more of a diverse musical instrument, rather than just hitting notes. Like stumbling the words, screaming, making different musical sounds, etc. This band is really the true definition of this, and again, I congratulate them on coming this far, and making it for the most part mainstream now.
